Much of our work involves building bridges between the private and public sectors to deliver results. Our partners include agribusinesses, investors (impact and commercial), donors, NGOs and research institutions. AgThrive has wide-ranging technical expertise across crop and livestock market systems globally with deep expertise in Sub Saharan Africa and South Asia. We are experts in inclusive business development, market and business assessment and climate change adaptation for farmers and businesses. Our services include strategy development, program design and implementation, project management, market systems and value chain landscaping and analysis, technical analysis, insights and advice, business assessment and partnership brokering.
Kristin, Director and Founder of AgThrive, is a Nairobi-based agricultural development professional with more than 15-years of experience working to transform the sector in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. She is a strategic, analytic and creative thinker, doer and problem-solver. Previously she worked as a Senior Program Officer for Agricultural Development at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she managed a $100 M grant portfolio and co-led the development of the foundation’s livestock strategy. Kristin holds an MSc in International Agricultural Development from the University of California at Davis and a BA in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Grinnell College.
